Why No One Can Eat Just One Potato Chip

A Fistful Of Nutrition Post #3:

Wondered why you really cannot, EVER, eat just one potato chip? The fat* in potato chips and French fries may trigger the body to produce natural marijuana like chemicals called endocannabinoids. These chemicals in turn make all fatty foods irresistible and kick start a biological mechanism that encourages eating more.

*Since potato chips/French fries are deep fried. Otherwise, potato in its raw form has a negligible fat content, 0.1 g per 100 g to be precise. Also, the endocannabinoid theory is said to apply to all foods rich in visible or invisible fat.
